PTI Nominates Barrister Gohar for Chairmanship Post-Imran Khan's Resignation

PTI has chosen Barrister Gohar as the official candidate for the chairmanship following the resignation of Chairman PTI Imran Khan in the elections held on Saturday. Tehreek-e-Insaf Senator Barrister Ali Zafar declared his nomination during a press conference, emphasizing their intention to avoid providing the Election Commission with reasons to annul the constituencies. 

He stated in the press conference that Tehreek-e-Insaf's interim setup is gearing up for the upcoming general elections. Barrister Gauhar Khan expressed gratitude to Imran Khan for approving his name for CHK Kerman, highlighting their shared vision. 

He affirmed his commitment to taking responsibility as long as Imran Khan, their leader, remains absent, whether inside or outside the jail. It is important to note that Express reported two days ago that Kerman would not partake in the PTI intra-party elections.
