Putin's Call for Peace in Ukraine Amidst Conflict and Tragic Loss of Russian Actress
During a virtual address to the G20 leaders, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his intention to halt the war in Ukraine. He conveyed readiness to work towards establishing peace in Ukraine, emphasizing that war yields no benefits.
Notably, since the conflict began in February 2022, numerous casualties and injuries have occurred in both Russia and Ukraine. The United States has been actively supporting Ukraine, providing substantial financial resources, and announcing a $250 million aid package for the country this year.
Simultaneously, a Russian actress, Polina Main Sheikh, lost her life in a rocket attack on a Russian military event in Ukraine. The attack, allegedly involving the Humars system supplied to Kyiv by the United States, targeted the stage during the first charity concert and subsequently aimed at the first group providing assistance.
Reports indicate that the 40-year-old head of the Sheik Legge Arts Studio went to the Star Web Yeshiva of the Donetsk People's Republic to perform at a concert for Russian soldiers. Tragically, the missile attack resulted in the actress's untimely death.
