What Curry conveyed to Foster following CP3's ejection from the Warriors-Suns game.

Steph Curry shared his thoughts on the noteworthy incident of Chris Paul's abrupt ejection during the Warriors' 123-115 loss to the Phoenix Suns. Curry expressed his concern about the exchange between Paul and NBA referee Scott Foster, highlighting their well-documented history. Despite being down by double digits, Curry emphasized the team's need for Paul's leadership and game management. He conveyed his disapproval of both the player and the referee getting involved in a conversation that resulted in an ejection. Curry revealed that he addressed this with Foster after the game, expressing his discomfort with the situation where both players and referees engage in conversation instead of focusing on playing basketball.

Steve Kerr expressed disappointment with Foster's decision to eject Paul, visibly showing frustration that led to the Warriors' coach receiving a technical foul as well.

After the game, Kerr elaborated on why he strongly disagreed with Foster's choice to remove Paul from the game.

"I didn't believe Chris deserved to be ejected," Kerr told reporters. "The first technical, absolutely. But I found the second one unnecessary. People get frustrated on the court, but that's the official's call."

Kerr then conveyed Foster's justification for giving Paul a second technical foul, resulting in an automatic ejection.

"I think Scott felt that Chris didn't stop and kept going, which is why he issued the second one," Kerr explained. "That was his explanation."

With Draymond Green already sidelined, the absence of Paul dealt a significant blow to the Warriors' prospects of securing a victory in the Arizona desert. Throughout the game, Curry and the starting lineup faced difficulties establishing a steady rhythm, leading to a prolonged struggle in the second half as they grappled with a double-digit deficit. A late-game surge by the Golden State bench narrowed Phoenix's lead to single digits.

After the emotionally charged defeat, the Warriors will promptly redirect their attention to a Friday night NBA In-Season Tournament matchup against the San Antonio Spurs at Chase Center.
