Lahore Accountability Court Summons 14, Including Parvez Elahi, in Bribery Case

The Lahore Accountability Court summoned 14 accused, including Parvez Elahi, to appear on December 20 in the reference related to alleged bribery and kickbacks in development projects. 

The court, which postponed further hearings, had NAB Prosecutor Waris Ali Janjua present. Notices were issued to summon other accused, including Pervez Elahi and Muhammad Khan Bhatti, named in the reference. 

NAB Lahore has charged Pervez Elahi and others with over 1 billion 23 crore rupees in the filed value reference. According to the NAB reference, Pervez Elahi, Munis Elahi, and others caused damage to the national treasury, and Pervez Elahi misused his position.
